Research

My thesis topic is about gestural and instrumental interaction in which gestures are considered as instruments that can be created, configured and used on the fly for content selection and editing. The studies on gestures I perform encompass their cognitive aspects, vocabulary design, recognition algorithms and ingeneering issues with a current focus on touchscreen devices such as smartphones and tablets.
